I had so much fun making this card. I rarely use buttons but I think it is a fun accent.
The note my daughter wrote was taken from another gal. Her name is Tami and she has an amazing galery over at 2Peas. I will feature a card from her soon. I'll include a link to her gallery when I post that card. In the mean time, thanks for the perfect quote Tami :)
Recipe: Stamp set: SU!'s Spring Garden (retired), dollar clear stamp from Michael's

This was a fun card to make using the Crop a Dile to try and create a border with small circles that protrude. Problem was there was very little time to make the cards and my circles aren't evenly separated. If I had to make this one again, I'd have a ruler and know where to punch so they would be even :) So, I have to deal with this imperfect card and still like it! That is very difficult for a type A personality like me!! But I have to let that go and be happy.
Recipe: SU!'s Pick a Petal, Everyday Flexible Phrases

The nice thing about these swaps is that I get to try a bunch of stamps I don't own yet. I don't have this set called Always but it sure is cute. I also like how this card has several layers.
Recipe: SU! Always, All Holidays, Floral, Boho Backgrounds.
Papers: Wild Wasabi, So Saffron, Bashful Blue, Chocolate Chip, Ballet Blue
Ink: White Craft, Chocolate Chip, Ballet Blue.
Accessories: White embossing powder, dimensionals, Photo Corners punch, Ticket Corner Punch

Very easy and simple card using the Seaside set and some hardware. The challenge here is to stamp the images at equal intervals but time is tight at the swaps so I had to go fast.
Recipe:
Stamps: SU!'s Seaside, Sanded
Papers: Sahara Sand, Bashful Blue, Whisper White, Blue & Blue Bayou.
Accessories: Spiral Punch, Hodgepodge Hardware, Hemp Twine (natural)
Ink: Black

Here is the first card in a series of about 10 of the last Shoe Box Swap I attended. This swap was with my upline and I did get permission to post these.
I really like this one because I typically don't ever use SU! 's Barely Banana colour. I think it looks really good with the black.
Recipe:
Stamps: Spring Solitude, Solitude wheel (Hostess level 2)
Papers: Barely Banana, Basic Black & Whisper White.
Accessories: Brad, Black grosgrain ribbon, dimensionals.
Ink: Black

Have a happy weekend! I need to work on the yard now :)
I don't remember which stamp set the sentiment comes from. And I think all the supplies are from Hobby Lobby. I like it because it is very clean and simple.
The card I made was the one I posted earlier and it has the Mother's Day greeting in French.
Thanks for stopping by and have a pleasant Tuesday!
