Ink: Rose Red

Accessories: Eyelet (p 189), small oval punch ( p 180), small tag punch ( p 181), Word Window punch ( p 180)

June swap # 3

We used the Stamp-a-Ma-jig to make this card. I have never used that fun tool before but it sure helped in making this card. This is a two step stamp set and it can be hard to stamp the outline where we want it. So this tool made is easy to stamp the outline exactly where I wanted it.
I loved it so much, I bought one with my next order! So, we will make a card at my next Open House (July 8th) using the Stamp-a-ma-jig.
Recipe:
Stamp sets: SU!'s Wild Rose (p 88), Sincere Salutations ( p 149)
Papers: Pumpkin Pie, Whisper White, Prints Designer Series Papers in Pumpkin Pie (p 171)
Ink: Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive
Accessories: Striped Grosgrain Ribbon Pumpkin Pie (p 191), 1/4 " Grosgrain Ribbon Pumpkin Pie ( p 191), Ticket Corner punch (p 180), Horizontal Slot punch (p 181)
Thanks for stopping by!!

Sneak Peak at Tonight's Project

Here is a card inspired by a card I saw on Dawn Griffith's blog. She received it from a friend and there was no link to that friend. :(

I wish I could give her the credit because I think her card was so cute I had to make one too! I had to change colours because I didn't have enough Pretty in Pink for the swap I was in last week and tonight's Open House.

The inside of the card is what makes it so cute!!

We will make 2 other projects tonight. I will post them later this week.

I also need to thank Susan for letting me borrow her Big Bold Birthday stamp set. You rawk!!!

Have a happy Tuesday!

Recipe:Wild about You, Big Bold Birthday

Papers: Chocolate Chip, Blue Bayou, Whisper White.

Ink: Chocolate Chip, Blue Bayou.

Accessories: Slit punch, Dimensionals, Dazzling Diamond, Chocolate Chip marker.

Thank you card for teachers

I made this card for my daughter's kindergarten teachers. It is inspired by Amy Rysavy. She has an awesome blog and here is a link to her card http://prairiepaperandink.typepad.com/amyr/2008/05/a-button-card.html and you will find a link to the right to her blog.

I had so much fun making this card. I rarely use buttons but I think it is a fun accent.

The note my daughter wrote was taken from another gal. Her name is Tami and she has an amazing galery over at 2Peas. I will feature a card from her soon. I'll include a link to her gallery when I post that card. In the mean time, thanks for the perfect quote Tami :)

Recipe: Stamp set: SU!'s Spring Garden (retired), dollar clear stamp from Michael's

Swap # 8

This was a fun card to make using the Crop a Dile to try and create a border with small circles that protrude. Problem was there was very little time to make the cards and my circles aren't evenly separated. If I had to make this one again, I'd have a ruler and know where to punch so they would be even :) So, I have to deal with this imperfect card and still like it! That is very difficult for a type A personality like me!! But I have to let that go and be happy.

Recipe: SU!'s Pick a Petal, Everyday Flexible Phrases

Papers: Regal Rose, So Saffron, Whisper White, Spring Fling.

Ink: Regal Rose

Accessories: Poly Twill Ribbon Old Olive, Chipboard, Crop A Dile.

Have a happy Tuesday!
