Spotlight on Susan Roberts / Colour Challenge 203

I needed to make a quick card this morning because I have a lot to do today. One of those things is to attend a class about periodontal disease. Woohoo!!! I am excited because it is given by a local periodontist who is using laser therapy and he is having good success with it.

Anyhoo, when I saw Susan's card, I thought it would be the perfect inspiration for mine today, combining it with today's colour challenge over at SCS. Colours are Garden Green, Pacific Point and Baja Breeze. Here is the link to the colour challenge 203 gallery.
I am including a link to Susan's awesome blog! (on the right) Go check it out!

Hello everyone!!!

I also wanted to spotlight Susan today. I've "known" her for a few years now from the 2Peasinabucket gallery. She also posts her wonderful cards on SCS and I am adding a link to her awesome blog. Go check it out!!!
Here is the card that inspired me http://susansdayoffcreations.blogspot.com/2009/01/tengui-hello.html

We've had spring like weather for the last few days and I am getting spring fever already. So, I was in the mood this morning for a spring feeling card :)
This came together very easily. I stamped the flowers with Versamark, then covered them with White Embossing powder. Heated them with heating tool. I also stamped smaller flowers on the Regal Rose paper with Versamark. I coloured the flower stamp next to the sentiment with a white gel pen. Added ribbon and voila!!!
