Spotlight on LYP

I have taken a serious blog vacation lately.  I was so busy with work and the holidays that I just couldn't fit in anything else.  I truly admire bloggers who manage their time so well, they blog regularly, rain or shine!  My hat is off to them.

So, here is a simple card inspired by a stamper who goes by the name LYP on SCS.    I am including a link to her gallery in my gallery list.  She has a lot of beautiful cards in her gallery; you should check it out!

I used the new Scallop Trim Punch from the Sale A Bration catalog.  This means you can have this punch for free with any $50 purchase until March 31st.

Supplies: Stamp set by SU! Medallion (115223)
Papers: Soft Suede, Very Vanilla, Black
Ink: Soft Suede.
Accessories: Scallop Trim Punch (118402), Modern Label Punch (116630), Word Punch (105090), Colour Spritzer Tool (107066), Soft Suede Marker (116329), Pewter Brads (109109).

Thanks for stopping by and have a happy Tuesday!

Oh, how gorgeous!! Lovely muted colors!
I also love your blog banner, is it new? Can't remember seeing it before.

Godelieve- you are so nice :) Thanks for the compliments! My banner isn't new. My youngest drew it last year. I'm actually going to have her make me a new one soon :)

The colors remind me of an old, tin ceiling with worn paint. Very vintage looking. Pretty.

This is beautiful! Great eye finding the inspiration! I especially love the little splatters of ink you've added- I never think to do that.
