So, here is a card I made for a challenge found on an awesome blog: http://tayloredexpressions.blogspot.com/2008/09/taylored-expressions-cupcake-challenge_19.html I have enjoyed Taylor's blog for quite some time now and she also has a great online store where she sells wonderful card making supplies. I am adding links on the side barr.
Here is the sketch we had to work with

And here is my card
Fun thing about these papers is that they are the same as the fabric we used for one of the quilts we made this summer. I couldn't pass this up as I need to make a few thank you cards to friends who helped me this summer with the big quilting project.
Supplies: sentiment done on the computer
Papers: The Paper Studio, My Mind's Eye, Bazzill
Accessories: SU!'s Bashful Blue Taffeta Ribbon, Piercing tool, Chocolate Chip marker, Pop Dots.
Thanks for stopping by and have a happy Saturday!!

This is so pretty! I love your color combination and choice of patterned papers! Thanks for playing the sketch challenge!
When I saw the card even before I read your post... I thought that reminds me of a quilt we did and then I read what you said and it made me laugh! I really like this card...simple but with lots of eye catching patterns and colors!
