A Card Swap

A few friends came over yesterday and we had a card swap.  We all cut enough supplies to make each others cards.  It was a lot of fun and it is always so neat to see what other people come up with.  My card was the one with the bird with the snow.  I CASEd it from Michelle Zindorf . You will find an easy tutorial to make this card when you click on the link.
Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful week!

Clean & Simple FTL #81

Ever have to change a recipe while you cook cause you made a mistake?  Well, I seem to do that often.  It also happened as I was making this extrememly simple card.  I managed to mess things up a bit.  The circles were supposed to be 1 inch wide and I went for 1 1/4 circle punch so I had to have 3 circles instead of 4 cause I ran out of room  :p  I then checked the recipe and realized my mistake but I didn't feel like changing anything and to work with this!  I did sponge the edges of my circles with Chocolate Chip ink to help define them a bit more on the blue background cardstock.  Sooooooooooooooo, here's my sample for the sketch.  Hope you like it!
Recipe : stamp set by SU! Fete diverses (retired)
Papers: Baja Breeze, scraps unknown
Ink: Chocolate Chip
Accessories: 1 1/4 inch Circle Punch (104403), Button (gift from a friend, thanks Danielle  :) ), Sponge.

Check out Clean & Simple FTL #81 for more ideas related to this sketch
