Homage to Nicole Lechelt

I am so exited I got to play with new colours!! I love the new colours for this year. I will miss the ones from last year so I stocked up quite a bit before they retired. I will miss Soft Sky the most. So I bought a ton of cardstock in that colour. :)

This card was inspired by Nicole Lechelt. This gal makes such cute cards and I used one of her ideas for the Open House on Tuesday. Here is a link to her card http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/828534?cat=500&ppuser=63659

I am also including a link to her blog on the right.

Recipe: SU!"s Pick A Petal, Curvy Verses

Papers:Riding Hood Red, Pacific Point, Baja Breeze

Ink: Riding Hood Red, Black

Accessories: Ginham Ribbon Black, Hobby Lobby's Ribbon FX (red & black poka dot), Scallop Edge Punch, Horizontal Slot Punch, Piercing Tool and mat, 1 1/4" circle punch.

Have a happy weekend. I am off to quilt some more.

Hi, Jacynthe! I LOVE this card... so cute! I haven't decided which of the In Colors are must-haves for me yet... I really like Baja Breeze and Kiwi Kiss, though! And Riding Hood Red, but it kinda seems like just another read to me, KWIM?

I m just amazined that you used a floral set to make the butterfly! THAT is SUPER creative! :D

BtW - I nominated you for an award over on my blog - http://my-little-ink-spot.blogspot.com/2008/08/another-blog-award.html - hope that's OK. :)

Hhave a great day! And have fun quilting! :)
