Close to my Heart

Have you seen their new summer catalogue? It is awesome!!! I have't had a chance to stamp much lately because May has been so busy with end the school year stuff and my oldest is graduating on Tuesday so I feel bad I haven't posted anything in so long. So, I am sharing a few cards that a friend of mine made with CTMH products. She has a fun style and I love everything she does!

You can contact any CTMH demo for a catalogue but if you don't know anyone, here is a link to Teri's CTMH website

I also wanted to share a scrapbook page I made back in 2002 (photo was taken in 1995) using a similar sentiment. This cutie patootie is graduating in just a couple of days! Time goes by way too fast if you ask me :)Thanks for stopping by and have a happy day tomorrow!

Spotlight on Nichole Heady

Spotlighting Nichole Heady is like spotlighting Elvis!! Well, it's a bit different , OK, but not that much. Nichole has an amazing blog and is part of Papertrey stamp company. Her blog is one of the top 10 in the industry. I totally love her stuff and I have bought a few things from Papertrey but have yet to ink them up. I will soon. Anyway, I saw this card and wanted to use the sketch for my mother in law's card for Mother's day card.I embossed the butterfly to give it more texture. Since my sewing machine was out, I thought I'd use it! I need to make a few skirts and bonnets since my dear husband & I will be a Ma & Pa on a Pioneer trek in Wyoming in about a month. It is weird sewing on paper but it turned out fun.
Thanks for stopping by and have a happy day!
