Happy Canada Day Banner

 I found this super cute banner on Pinterest.  I was so happy that Rebecca shared the "how to" because I was able to make one of my very own!!!  It's been a while since I've made a paper craft that took more than 5 minutes!!  This took about 1/2 hour and I am so pleased with it.  I now get to work on my 4th of July banner on Monday.

Washi Tape

New Catalog 2012-2013

Freedom Isn't Free

Happy Memorial Day everyone.  What a blessing it is to have men and women willing to sacrifice so much to give others freedom from oppression and opportunities to pursue happiness to its fullest.  I believe that happiness is a choice and that some people even in difficult circumstances, still find happiness in the little things.  Gob bless them for that!  But how blessed we are in this country to have so much and most of all freedom.  I am Canadian but I am just as grateful as most Americans are for this privilege.

This week's featured stamper at SCS is Susan Bridgman.  I was inspired by this card.  I used a brayer to do the BG and used the spritzer tool with a black marker to give it more texture.  I embossed the Tower with black  embossing powder.  Hope you like it.  Something different for today but fun, I think.  Have a happy Sunday!

Amazingly Organized!!!

Oh I wish!! But still, here I am with a Mother's Day card in March!  Well, I saw this card by Amy Wanford and had to make a similar one using Fifth Avenue Floral stamp.

I stamped the flower on vellum paper with Versamark.  Embossed with white embossing powder.  Coloured with a marker on the other side of the flower, popped it on Pop Dot, added a pearl and voilà!!
