Homage to "dpetersen" from SCS

There are so many card makers that make the most beautiful cards. This gal has an awesome gallery at SCS and here is the link to it: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showgallery.php?cat=500&ppuser=2715

I had to use different colours because my sister in law Kathy had a baby boy yesterday! Woohoo!

Homage to Godelieve

I have enjoyed seing her work for quite a while now at 2Peas and here is a link to her blog.

I had to use different stamps and different colours than her card but I had fun. There is some UTEE on the surface to give the illusion that the card is wet.

Stamps are by Hero Arts
Papers are by SU!, Whisper White & Old Olive
I coloured my stamp with SU! markers and sprayed water on the stamp before I placed it on paper to give it the watercolour look.

Time Well Spent

I made this card for a swap I was in with other demonstrators.

My favourite SU! item is their white gel pen. It is the best! I coloured the inside of the small flower with it.

The white flowers on the red cardstock are stamped with white craft ink and embossed with white embossing powder. The little red bling is from Hobby Lobby :)

Thanks for stopping by!

Cardstock: Kraft, Purely Pomegranate, Bashful Blue and Whisper White

Ink: Purely Pomegranate, white craft ink

Last Shoe Box Swap

Here are the cards we made at the last Shoe Box Swap. This one is by Jamie. Using the set called Bugs & Kisses. There is some dimension with the heart; see photo below. Clever isn't it!
This one below is by Susan. She made a Criss Cross card. Very simple. Here is a link with directions http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ee/index.php/resources/tutorials/criss_cross_card/
She also made the heart out of chipboard and a heart template. Very classy.

This one is by Jen. I love it because it is so simple, yet very cute.
This one is by Lauren. Another very clean and simple card using SU! set called So Much

The card above is by Natalie. I think all the stamps are by CTMH. Love the brown and pink :)
This card is by Wendy. Fun to mix a little green with the brown and pink. The stamp is by SU! but is retired and I don't remember what it is called :( Super cute card!

This last one is by Peggy. We made this cute bag and filled it with some treats. This is made using the SU! Loads of Love stamp set.

These Shoe Box Swaps are my favourite events! The next one was supposed to be on the 25th but I must postpone it by one week. So, we will have the next Shoe Box Swap on Friday May 2nd. Thanks for stopping by.
